Mixes
The very first recording that I did at the New England Institute of Art was of my friend Dan Wojtaszek, his brother David and a mutual friend, Rachel Baker. They have the running name of Dan the Baker, but they haven't played any shows other than Dan himself playing acoustic guitar only at local coffee shops. The mix ended up sounding really good, but required a lot more editing then originally expected. Overall the mix has a lot of folk inspiration with ambiances throughout.
The second recording I did at the New England Institute of Art was with White Island Medium, the running name of my best friend Tirso Perez's project. The idea behind White Island Medium is to join together a bunch of artists to combine their talents and creativity to create great music. This recording was one of two recordings I did with him. The mix turned out great. The mix also has a lot of folk inspiration and ambiances, but it is has a very unique style that can't really be put into a genre.
This track was not recorded by me, but was rather mixed by me. This track was recorded by Weathervane as a part of their project entitled "Shaking Through". The multi-track was available online for a few months to anyone who was signed up on their site. This track was really fun to mix because the recording quality was already so high that I could genuinely mess around with effects and just experiment. The mix is very dynamic and has a lot of Blues influence.
